Number of gun owners in the U.S. = 80,00O,OOO

Number of accidental gun deaths per year (all age groups) =1,500

Accidental deaths per gun owner = 0.0000188 (U.S. Bureau of

-Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms)

1 accidental death for every 6 physicians

1 accidental death for every 50,000 gun owners

Therefore, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous

than gun owners.

This sort of gives a whole new meaning to "getting a shot" at the doc's office.
